An Update…

Hey everyone,

Thank you for stopping by, for checking your blog feed, and caring about what I have to say. Here’s  the latest on what’s going on right now:

  • I just returned from an incredible experience leading a team of 12 to Bogota’ Colombia. You can read all about my journey here
  • My beautiful wife Rachel is Nashville (jealous) for 4 days at the MOPS leadership conference; leaving me to be a single dad. I’m loving my time with Emery but miss my wife dearly.
  • I’m currently flexing my blogging muscles over at NRSMonline.com now. You should check it out. I’m writing about worship and creativity
  • I just filled my first Moleskin journal. For me this is huge. I don’t write a ton, but I use it to capture ideas, write lyrics, journal random thoughts, and draw concepts for stage elements or designs. There’s about 2 years worth of my life inside, i’m happy to retire it and have already started #2. 
  • I’m struggling to wrap my head around all that I need to be doing right now. There is writing to do, storyboarding to get done, bands to schedule, worship leaders to communicate with, and a fall launch for NRSM that has me in a headlock. I know what needs to get done, it’s just forming a method to all of the madness.
  • I love my interns. They are incredible.
  • I need more Jesus
  • I found this old keyboard/organ in a school in the ghetto of Bogota, I love this shot
  • I really really REALLY want to go to STORY Chicago this year.
